Frequently Asked Questions

How can I contact The Muslim Man Camp?

You can reach us by filling out the contact form below, or by emailing us directly at support@muslimmancamp.com. We try to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.

What types of activities are offered at the camp?

Our camp offers a variety of activities including hunting/fishing, survival skills training, teamwork exercises, and personal development sessions. Each activity is designed to enhance your survival skills and foster brotherhood among participants.

Is there an age limit for participants?

Our camps have a minimum age limit depending on the camp level. This age limit ensures that all attendees can fully engage in the physical and mental challenges presented during our programs, promoting a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

What is included in the cost?

All food and tents and facilities are provided and each attendee will receive a survival pack along with other items needed for the activities. Our camps utilize privately owned land by Muslims, developed specifically for the purposes of our camps. The level of skills taught in this camp combined with religious teachings is unique to our camps.

What experience do the coaches have?

Our coaches have years of experience in survival, outdoor activities, hunting, slaughtering, butchering, camping and leading Hajj groups. They also have experience in sports and self-defense like wrestling, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and boxing. And more, Alhamdulillah.

Will there be bathrooms and showers?

We will have a basic “natural” outdoor bathroom and shower for a realist survival scenario in addition to portable toilets depending on level of camp.

What should I bring to the camp?

We recommend bringing personal items such as a sleeping bag, appropriate clothing for outdoor activities, and any necessary toiletries. Additionally, a positive attitude and willingness to learn will enhance your experience at the camp.

Are meals provided during the camp?

Yes, all meals and snacks are provided during your stay at the camp. We will be preparing and cooking our meals as part of the learning process. You can bring your own snacks and food and medication that you need due to dietary restrictions that we can’t accommodate. We will do our best to accommodate any dietary restrictions, ensuring that all participants are well-fed and energized for the activities planned throughout the day.

Will the meat be halal/zabihah?

Yes, we follow strict standards regarding meat and we will actually be slaughtering our own meat for one of the meals, so you can see the zabihah in action!

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own equipment, such as tents or camping supplies. However, we also provide all necessary equipment for the activities, so bringing your own is not mandatory. We will have multi-person tents and you will be paired with other attendees. If you are a parent/guardian, we will do our best to pair you into the same tents and at least in the same tent group.

What is the refund policy?

We allow refunds up to 2 weeks before the start of the camp due to the time needed to order supplies and food in time for the camp.

For ages that require a parent/guardian, is one needed for each child or can there be a group guardian?

You can have a group guardian for multiple minors such as a masjid group, or home school group, or youth group. We recommend having one guardian for every 5 minors if possible.
